What’s New in Muster

A running account of what we’ve forged. Newest first.

Heralds, auguries, and honors for the home front

    • Scry for openings: when posting a muster, one click reads the fellowship's auguries and suggests the hours when the most companions are free — counts only, never anyone's calendar.
    • The herald's horn: the moment the last member weighs in, the host is told the council has spoken — and musters left waiting too long send a gentle nudge to the quiet.
    • The hour, delivered: lock-in emails now carry a calendar file (.ics) any calendar can swallow — no binding required — and partners can inscribe the gathering in the household ledger straight from their confirmation page.
    • For the home front: Spouse Awareness links now work with a single click and no account whatsoever, landing on a proper illuminated proclamation — animated seal, formal thanks, and the gathering's particulars.
    • Raise it again: settled gatherings can be raised anew with one click — same quest, fresh dates.
    • Let the die decide: when the council stands deadlocked between hours, a d20 may settle it — rolled in the open, recorded in the annals for all time.
    • The Sigil Forge: fellowships may strike a proper heraldic crest — shield, tincture, and charge, deterministically theirs, reforgeable until it feels right.
    • Provisions & Duties: once the hour is locked, post what the gathering needs and claim what you can carry. Someone must bring the wine.
    • Hirelings & guests: bring a +1 with a one-click link — they see the time and place, answer, and inscribe it in their calendar. No account, ever.
    • Around the Hall: fellowship cards now whisper what's afoot, past gatherings settle into a chronicle with your attendance record (Ever-Present streaks earn their flame), loading screens roll for initiative, and Muster can be added to your phone's home screen.
    • Depart the Realm — or claim your ledger: self-serve, permanent account deletion now lives in your Ledger, alongside a one-click download of everything Muster holds about you. Your data leaves when you do, or rides with you anytime.

A calendar for the fellowship, and clearer musters

    • The Fellowship's Calendar: browse every muster your fellowship has raised, month by month — locked-in dates shown solid, still-being-picked dates marked as tentative.
    • Clearer readiness: the “which times work?” view now shows how many have weighed in (and who you're still waiting on) with bold, at-a-glance bars — and once a time is locked in, the availability grid steps aside for a tidy RSVP.
    • Address autocomplete: start typing a place or business when you set a muster's location and pick from real suggestions.
    • Edit a muster: hosts can tidy a muster's title, details, and location after it's posted.
    • A welcome for new arrivals: join a fellowship that's already scrying for times and you'll get a raven pointing you at the musters awaiting your readiness.

Renown, standing hours, and a calendar that keeps you honest

    • Titles & Renown: arrive bearing a flavorful title (change it any time in your Ledger) and grow a five-tier laurel by founding fellowships, answering summons, and posting musters.
    • Two-sided standing hours: mark your recurring weekly blocks as Open (reliably free) or Busy.
    • Event-by-event calendar review: keep the odd event out of your availability — a soft hold, a “maybe” — for a single occurrence or a whole series, with the titles kept to yourself.
    • Drift & conflict watch: a gentle weekly nudge when your synced schedule drifts, and an alert if your own calendar lands on top of a muster you pledged to attend.
    • Kind exits & easy reconnects: a graceful “can't make it” for locked-in musters (with an optional word to the fellowship), and a clear prompt to reconnect if a calendar link ever expires.

    Sharper Helm, steadier footing

    • Shared & view-only calendars: fold a calendar you can see but don't own (like a partner's family calendar) into your availability — free/busy only, never the event details.
    • Password reset: a self-serve flow to renew your ward if you're locked out.
    • The Helm (for the Watchers): growth sparklines, RSVP and calendar mixes, and an issues inbox that captures notable errors next to your feedback.
    • Reliability: a partner nickname shown on musters in place of an email, clearer calendar-binding errors, and steadier sign-ins across deploys.

Sign in your way, and rally the realm

    • Social sign-in with Discord and Google (Sign in with Apple is coded and waiting in the wings).
    • Broadcast a Muster: an opt-in, heraldic shareable card with a public link — title, time, and place only, never your availability.
    • Terms of Service, a privacy policy, and an essential-cookies notice.

    • Standing weekly availability and a per-muster manual override, all in your own timezone.
    • Per-kind notifications with global and per-fellowship overrides, plus comments on musters.
